Island Breeze is a two bedroom, single bath home. With the pull out sofa
bed or other singles it can sleep a maximum of six people--there are several additional beds for convenience. The space is perfect for families with children
or extended family The house feels open and airy. The warm variegated red oak floor is
pleasing to the eye and the carpeted bedrooms are kind on the feet. The kitchen is central
to activities while not being in the way. There is central air or heat if you need it yet
the many windows provide access to both views and breezes. The large walk in closet with
shelves provides spacious additional storage. The porch and deck give you a birdseye view
of paradise. Everything is near by and yet separated for a feeling of intimacy but with
the ability to step out and be away.

Front Porch
The many doors and windows allow great light and ventilation in all
directions. There is a gas grill on the West side.

The
living-dining space includes three sofas, end tables, a coffee table, Sony radio and
stand, dining table with six chairs, desk and table, and sitting chair.

The dining area is on the other side of the kitchen island.
Hallway
The bathroom is
between the two bedrooms, at the end of the hallway. |
| Looking West through the hall to the porch. |

Late afternoon light in the winter.

Onyx marble counter top is a translucent swirled marble. They are an elegant addition to the kitchen.

Lanai
The
Lanai or Florida Room is lighted and has windows. West facing porch table
with chairs.

Porch in the afternoon with shadows and light. Since the house stands in the tree line we have excellent privacy--though every window has shades as well.
The Lanai has a train table.

This is looking South Southwest towards state park land three blocks away. Right now there are no houses built next to us on the southern lots and then there is a sand road that goes to the beach or state park land. |
| Front Porch to the East
The front or North porch has tables and chairs. The BBQ is a commercial style 4-burner stainless steel model with cast iron burners. One of the burners fires a stove stop.

There is a gate at the top of the stairs for children and animals. |
| The porch is an excellent place to be outside for crafting or reading. We have moved the porch table outside for more surface area. |
. |
Below
The
lower area includes an outside shower, washer, dryer, trash bin, and bicycles.

The bench travels around the yard but right now it's in front of the storage area window below. Notice the golf cart charger in the foreground. |

There is a bench to stop and rest. The tree over and above has coconuts. It's almost too cold for them here--they like heat.

Outside
In back is a grove of palm trees with a table and chairs.
The house is built on stilts jetted into the ground.

This is the rarely seen east side of the house. Below we have storage and supplies. As a stilt house in the coastal flood zone at 12 feet above water we can't build to ground level but this storage area was built a while ago when the house was built.
I'd guess this house could stand a tidal surge of 18-20 feet. |
| Golf Cart
The house
comes with the use of a golf cart with a capacity of four people. We use a trailer for
picking up and dropping off. We ask renters to recharge the cart at night and wash off
salt and dirt. Golf carts need care so we also ask guests not to overload the cart or go too fast. |
Dock Access
A dock is available for an additional amount. Please inquire when you make your reservations. Rate is around $35 a day. Make sure to get a
navigation chart and become familiar with the boat and water.
The dock in the photograph may not be the dock you rent. |
Kayaks and Sailboats
| We have sit-on-top kayaks, a
Holder 12 sailboat, and a wind surfer. There are many beach toys.

feet and napping. If you want something, ask for it!
